The list of bugs that people tend to consider to be nothing more than annoying pests is extremely long and included on that list are bugs such as cockroaches, mosquitoes, fleas, house flies, ants, and silverfish. Of course, you don't have to be an entomologist to know that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of different kinds of insects, depending on how specifically you want to group them. Some possible categories of insects include stinging insects such as wasps, bees, and hornets; flying insects such as butterflies, moths, and dragonflies; especially disgusting insects such as bed bugs, ticks, and cockroaches; and destructive insects such as the ones that eat the plants in your yard or chew up the wood frame of your house. On the other hand, there are a few helpful insects, such as lady bugs, the praying mantis, and the aptly named assassin bug, which kill off undersirable insects.
