Winter is different things to different people depending on where they live, the things they like to do, and how much time they like to spend outdoors. For some people it's their favorite time of year and for others it's the most boring and frustrating season. Although it's possible to have a good attitude regarding the limitations imposed by and the opportunities available during any season, it is quite likely that most people have a favorite and least favorite season. It may well be that many people live in locations where there is not a lot of difference between the seasons, but others live in areas where the contrast between seasons is extreme and where certain activities are more or less impossible during certain months.
