They say that cleanliness is next to godliness and although that might be a bit of an exaggeration, there is a lot to say in favor of cleanliness! These ducks were swimming in the South Fork of the Kern River, south of Kennedy Meadows and little bit north of Rockhouse Basin, just a few feet from the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). There was a third duck, but he got chased off by the male seen in this video. In fact, it was a rather loud squabble which is what initially caught my attention while I was hiking along on an otherwise quiet evening!
