What we have here is a sarcastic little song about the Holiday Season. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, there are likely to be aspects of the season which you find annoying. It could be the Christmas songs, or the decorations, or the commercialization of the holiday, or the people ringing bells in front of stores. There's almost certainly something there to irritate even the most charitable people among us. To make things worse there are those who overdo things, who are a little too exuberant and a little too enthusiastic in the way they go about celebrating Christmas. And then there are those who emphasize the religious aspects of the holiday and take all the fun out of the festivities and treat Christmas as some kind of somber religious memorial. Combine all this with nasty weather and pressure to attend social functions and gettogethers and the unpleasantness of the holidays can drive some people to extreme SARCASM, although mildly sarcastic remarks and jokes are more likely in most cases.
