Pizza is a very popular dish and it comes in a lot of different forms. In fact, even if we inspect a normal, fastfood kind of pizza, a tremendous amount of variety is produced simply as a result of the toppings people put on top of their pizza. A short list of toppings includes anchovies, bell peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, onions, Canadian bacon, olives, spinach, and tomatoes, as well as various kinds of cheese. Additionally, there are more exotic items which can be included on the list such as cilantro, artichoke hearts, chicken, peanuts, fancy mushrooms, basil, eggplant, and even okra. Probably the most popular pizza topping is pepperoni with sausage as the second most popular topping, but olives, mushrooms, and bell peppers also rank high on the list of desirable toppings. It should also be noted that the designation of least popular of the commonly applied toppings would most likely be awarded to anchovies. Some people love them, but most people find them extremely unappetizing. As they say, there's no accounting for taste and so, to each his or her own when it comes to pizza toppings!
