Lesson One: Addition Review

Adding two numbers when the numbers are represented as dice is as easy as counting the dots:

This dice addition sentence can be rewritten as a number addition sentence like this:

4 + 2 = 6

We don't want to depend on dot counting in order to perform addition, but using dots helps make it clear how addtion works. Here are a few more examples for your to consider:
