Lesson One hundred twenty-four: Divisibility

Sometimes it is not immediately clear if a number is divisible by another. Usually this is the case when we are dealing with large numbers. Consider the following examples: 

   Is 333 divisible by 10?

   To answer this question divide 333 by 10:

       333 / 10  = 33 r3

   Since there is a remainder 333 is NOT divisible by 10.



   Is 333 divisible by 9?

   To answer this question divide 333 by 9:

      333 / 9 = 37

   Since there is NO remainder 333 IS divisible by 9.
