Lesson One hundred and thirty-two: Problem Reconstruction

Reconstructing a division problem like we are doing is like doing division in reverse. Multiplication is the reverse process of division and so that's why multiplication helps us to solve these problems. 


      ___ /  12  = 12 r5

      CONVERT INTO A MULTIPLICATION PROBLEM:

      12 x 12 + 5 = ____

      ANSWER: 149
We can also arrange this kind of problem like this: 

               22 r7
            +--------
         15 | ???

         CONVERT INTO A MULTIPLICATION PROBLEM:

         15 x 22 + 7 = _____

         ANSWER: 337
