Lesson One hundred and fourteen: Decimal Plus and Minus

Adding and subtracting decimal values takes some practice to get good at. So, we will practice these skills in this lesson.

First subtraction: 


              2.35		2.21
            - 1.43             - .92
           --------           ---------
              0.92              1.29 


              2.11               3.69
            - 1.44             - 1.87
           --------          ---------
              0.67               1.82
Once you line up the decimals, the rest is just subraction as usual. Even borrowing works the same as it would without the decimal point in the problem.
